We are seeking individuals with knowledge and experience in Chess who are interested in leading interactive, hands-on enrichment programs for students of varying ages and skill levels.

This posting is intended to identify qualified professionals for current and future independent contractor opportunities. Specific assignments, schedules, locations, and compensation will vary based on school and program needs.

ASSIGNMENT SCOPE

Depending on the assignment, instructors may be responsible for:

• Introducing students to the fundamentals of chess, including rules, pieces, movement, and gameplay.
• Teaching chess strategies, tactics, openings, and problem-solving techniques.
• Leading interactive lessons, practice games, and friendly competitions.
• Helping students develop critical thinking, concentration, patience, and decision-making skills.
• Adapting instruction to accommodate different ages, experience levels, and learning styles.
• Creating a positive, engaging, and supportive learning environment.
• Encouraging sportsmanship, creativity, and student participation.
