Qualifications

• Hands-on experience operating Stand-Up Reach forklifts and Cherry Pickers.
• Experience with RF scan guns for picking and inventory.
• Willingness to work 7:00 AM–5:30 PM, Monday–Friday, with potential overtime.
• Must pass pre-employment drug screen and background check.
• Excellent attendance and strong attention to detail.
• Ability to lift/move 20–70 lbs and work at elevated heights on cherry picker.

Responsibilities

• Operate Stand-Up Reach forklifts and Cherry Pickers to stock, stage, and retrieve merchandise across multi-level racking.
• Use RF scan gun to scan inventory, track shipments, verify lot/location codes, and confirm orders.
• Pick, pack, stack, and palletize products per daily orders.
• Inspect incoming freight and outbound shipments for quality, damage, and discrepancies.
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment in compliance with OSHA and company standards.
• Support cycle counts, bin replenishments, and general warehouse duties.

Chase Staffing is seeking a dependable, skilled Equipment Operator for an immediate opening in Covington, GA. This position requires hands-on experience operating both stand-up reach forklifts and cherry pickers, as well as daily proficiency with RF scan guns for accurate order selection and inventory tracking. This temp-to-perm role offers consistent hours, steady daytime scheduling, and comprehensive benefits upon permanent placement.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely and efficiently operate both Stand-Up Reach forklifts and Cherry Pickers to stock, stage, and retrieve merchandise throughout multi-level racking.
• Utilize an RF scan gun to scan inventory, track shipments, verify lot/location codes, and confirm order accuracy.
• Pick, pack, stack, and palletize products according to daily customer order specifications.
• Inspect incoming freight and outbound shipments for quality, damage, and count discrepancies.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free work environment in full compliance with OSHA and company safety standards.
• Assist with routine cycle counts, bin replenishments, and general warehouse duties as needed.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Equipment Proficiency: Proven, hands-on experience operating both Stand-Up Reach forklifts and Cherry Pickers (Order Pickers) is required.
• RF Scanning: Strong working experience using RF scan guns for picking, inventory transfers, and cycle counts.
• Schedule Commitment: Available to work Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM, with flexibility for overtime as operational needs arise.
• Screening: Must be able to pass a standard pre-employment drug screen and background check.
• Punctuality & Reliability: Excellent attendance record and strong attention to detail.
• Physical Demands Ability to stand, bend, reach, pivot, and operate equipment for the duration of a 10-hour shift.
• Ability to lift, lower, and maneuver boxes and materials ranging from 20 lbs up to 70 lbs.
• Comfortable working at elevated heights from a cherry picker platform.
