Axiom Staffing Group is seeking a Cherry Picker Operator for our Bloomingdale client site in Pooler, GA. You will work with very heavy loads in tight spaces, picking orders from multi-level racks and staging for shipment.

Requires 2+ years of warehouse experience, proficiency with cherry pickers/reach trucks, and ability to lift 50+ lbs. Safety is prioritized in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Qualifications

• Comfortable working at heights up to 50 feet

Responsibilities

• Accurate order picking from multi-level racks using a cherry picker or forklift
• Staging, loading, and unloading shipments to and from trailers/containers
• Stacking and storing merchandise in designated areas
• Labeling pallets and preparing products for shipping
• Breaking down and consolidating pallets for put-away or picking
• Daily inspections and basic maintenance of forklifts and equipment
• Maintain a clean, safe warehouse environment and adhere to OSHA procedures
• Ad hoc duties as assigned

Do have experience with Heavy Loads at Extended Heights on a Cherry Picker within limited spaces and pride yourself on safety? Our client has the perfect job for you!

Order/Cherry Picker Operator positions currently open for our client in their busy Bloomingdale distribution center.

Your key responsibilities include picking orders from multi-level racks, putting away product, and staging orders for shipment. This will all be done with very heavy loads in smaller than usual spaces, so safety is a priority! If you enjoy a fast-paced, team-oriented and physical job, this is the job for you!

Job Responsibilities:

• Accurately picking product from multi-level racks using a cherry picker, counterbalance, and/or reach truck
• Staging, loading, and unloading shipments to and from trailers and containers
• Efficiently stacking and storing merchandise in designated areas
• Labeling pallets accurately and preparing products for scheduled shipping
• Breaking down and consolidating pallets for put-away or picking
• Performing daily inspections and minor maintenance on forklifts and equipment
• Maintaining a clean, orderly, and safe warehouse environment
• Complying with OSHA, MSDS, and established safety procedures
• Ad hoc duties as they arise

Requirements:

• 2+ years of recent warehouse and equipment operation experience
• Proficiency in operating an order/cherry picker, counterbalance, and/or reach truck
• Ability to stand, bend, and lift 50+ lbs frequently throughout an 8+ hour shift
• Comfortable working at heights of up to 50 feet
• Strong communication skills (reading, writing, and speaking English fluently)
• Basic mathematical skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division)
• Detail-oriented with a focus on safety and customer service
