Job summary

People First Staffing seeks a dependable Cherry Picker Operator for our distribution center. The role focuses on order picking using a forklift to retrieve items, assist with packing and labeling for shipment, and help with inventory checks and daily production reports.

Applicants should have 6+ months experience operating a sit-down cherry picker or forklift, with shipping/receiving experience preferred. Must pass drug test and background check; OSHA certification preferred.

Qualifications

• Six or more months of experience operating a cherry picker or forklift.
• High school diploma or GED (preferred).
• OSHA certification (preferred).
• Hand‑eye coordination and mechanical skills.
• Ability to pass drug test and background check.

Responsibilities

• Use a cherry picker forklift to place or remove large items on warehouse shelves.
• Package and label items for shipment.
• Keep track of shipments and product relocations within the warehouse.
• Use a cherry picker forklift with a work platform to elevate workers to check inventory.
• Follow safety regulations.
• Assist with loading and unloading delivery trucks.
