Job summary

Express Employment Professionals - Cincinnati East is seeking candidates for several Material Handler roles in a warehouse setting. You will operate equipment such as cherry pickers and reach trucks, scan and stage products for shipping, and use RF devices to record picking and inventory. Flexibility for overtime is required.

Applicants should have at least 2 years of warehouse experience, be able to lift 50 lbs, and pass a background and drug screen. High school diploma or GED is required.

Responsibilities

• Ensure PIT equipment is safe and operable and perform other warehouse tasks.

Job description

We're seeking candidates to fill several "Material Handler" positions. This role will commonly perform routine tasks in a warehouse environment. Desirable candidates can work independently and as part of a team, with limited supervision at times, and are highly organized and hard working.

Basic Job Duties and Responsibilities:

• Able to use a variety of material handling equipment.
• Cherry picker, reach truck, and or dock truck.
• Locate, scan, load, and stage product for shipping
• Use of RF handheld devices to record product picking and track inventory
• Moves materials from one location to another, either manually or mechanically.
• Verifying all PIT equipment is safe and operable
• Performs other warehouse related tasks assigned.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED
• Minimum of 2-years material handling and warehouse experience
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
• High attention to detail
• Willing to submit to background and drug screening
• Flexibility to work OT as assigned
