Job summary

Monroechamber in Kansas City, MO is seeking a Cherry Picker Operator to handle order picking with Crown cherry picker experience. You will process orders, scan items with RF scanners, and ensure accurate placement on pallets and in boxes.

This role offers a Monday–Friday day shift with an associate-to-hire opportunity and competitive benefits. Responsibilities include loading, organizing materials, maintaining a clean workspace, and adhering to safety protocols while repeatedly lifting up to 50

Qualifications

• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally.
• Experience operating a Crown cherry picker.
• RF scanner experience a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and excellent attendance.

Responsibilities

• Process orders by scanning and picking products onto a cart (2–50 lb items).
• Arrange products to fit into gaylords and pallets.
• Scan transfer orders with RF scanner and verify labels.
• Move finished gaylords to pallet wrapper and load into trucks.
• Maintain organization and clean work area.

Position Title: Cherry Picker Operator

Wage: $19.00/hour

Shift: 1st

Hours: 8:00am-5:00pm Monday-Friday

We are searching for Forklift Operators with prior Cherry Picker forklift experience.

Location

Kansas City, MO.

Responsibilities

• Process orders by physically scanning and picking products and placing onto a cart; items range between 2-50 pounds in weight
• Arrange product to fit into various gaylords (large cardboard box that is placed on a pallet)
• Scan transfer orders with RF scanner
• Scan PID label and scan location label for product put away, review computer to confirm items were processed systemically
• Maintain organization of materials
• Take finished gaylords to the pallet wrapper and stage them, place into racks and load them into a box truck
• Maintain clean work area

Requirements

• Able to continuously lift or move lightweight materials; able to infrequently lift up to 50 pounds
• Able to continuously bend, stretch and walk on cement floors
• Able to operate a Crown cherry picker
• Able to operate a reach truck and sit-down forklift is a plus
• Fall protection will be worn; Operators may have to pick from high locations (Level 6 racking)
• RF scanner skills are a plus
• Strong attention to detail
• Excellent attendance
