Job summary

Bob’s Discount Furniture is seeking a Receiving Equipment Operator in New Jersey to support our growing distribution network. You will operate a cherry picker lift up to 40 feet, use RF scanners to locate products, and place items into designated storage locations with accuracy.

This is a physically demanding, team-based role offering an extensive benefits package and opportunities for growth within our national distribution network. Weekend availability and a commitment to safety are essential.

Qualifications

• High School or equivalent work experience required.
• Must have experience operating forklift and/or cherry picker equipment.
• Comfortable with heights up to 40 ft.
• Must be able to work weekends and flexible hours.
• Must be able to pass physical assessment with a push/pull requirement up to 250 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a Cherry Picker lift up to 40 ft.
• Utilize RF scanners to identify and locate product.
• Load staged product from dock onto cherry picker lift.
• Move product from lift into proper location on storage racks.
• Cooperate with team members to complete tasks and meet goals.
• Support a culture of honesty, integrity, diversity and community.
