Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. is hiring a temp-to-hire Warehouse Forklift Operator in Apopka, FL. This role offers weekly pay, paid training, safety gear, and a path to a permanent position. Third shift is Thu-Sat 5:00 pm–5:00 am, with every other Wednesday 5:00 pm–5:00 am. Key duties include loading, picking, packing, shipping, and cycle counting.

Requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent, 1+ year warehouse experience, a valid forklift license, and strong communication and teamwork.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 1+ year warehouse experience preferred.
• Valid forklift operator's license.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as a member of a team.
• Ability to lift up to 35 lbs.
• Stand for long periods.
• Flexible schedule and shifts.
• Detail oriented with good attendance.

Responsibilities

• Perform warehouse functions: loading, picking, packing, shipping, receiving, forklift operation, and cycle counting.
• Operate within performance measurement guidelines of the contract.
• Responsible for accurate picking/packing, auditing, tote induction, staging of products and loading/unloading of trucks.
• Handle day-to-day paperwork in a warehouse (picking sheets, returns, bills of lading).
• Provide technical and maintenance support for automated packing system during core shift hour.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
