Qualifications

• Minimum three to five years experience in pharmacy.
• Oncology experience would be helpful.

Responsibilities

• Prepares medication orders by compounding or admixing medications under supervision of a physician.
• Checks all orders for completeness of information.
• Verifies patient information and proper physician authorization.
• Checks all orders for insurance approval before admixing.
• Calculates correct dosage volumes and maintains drug logs and MSDS sheets.
• Maintains inventory, labels, and billing; data entry into pharmacy systems.
• Assists with cleaning and maintenance of the admix area and pharmacy department.
