Doctor's Data, Inc. is seeking an entry-level Sample Prep Technician on the first shift in our Chemistry Department in Saint Charles, Illinois.

The role involves careful sample preparation, accurate pipetting, and strict adherence to safety and laboratory practices. Qualifications

• Associate degree in a clinical, laboratory, chemical, physical, or biological science.
• Bachelor’s degree in laboratory science or medical technology preferred.
• Ability to pipette with accuracy and perform basic laboratory procedures.
• Ability to multitask with high accuracy.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to read and comprehend scientific documents.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office; basic computer skills.
• Microscope experience preferred.
• Attendance reliability and schedule flexibility.
• Color vision required.
• Willingness to work 1st shift M-F 9:00 AM-5:30 PM.

Job Requirements:

• Required: Associate’s degree in a clinical, laboratory, chemical, physical, or biological science


• Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in laboratory science or degree in medical technology from an accredited institution


• Ability to pipette with accuracy and experience with conducting basic laboratory procedures


• Ability to complete assignments and multitask with a high degree of accuracy


• Strong communication skills in written and oral form


• Ability to read and comprehend science documents


• Ability to perform scientific math equations including the following: ratios, percentages, dilutions and conversions


• Familiarization with Microsoft Office, and basic computer skills


• Previous microscope experience preferred


• Must be able to meet attendance requirements and have flexibility in scheduling.


• Must be comfortable in handling human specimens and have a high regard for safety and good laboratory practices.


• Color vision is required


• Ability to work 1stshift M-F 9:00 AM-5:30 PM
