Description:

The Department of Chemistry & Physics has openings for Lecture/ Lab Instructional Assistant for various courses in Chemistry. Potential candidates will work closely with and assist the instructor with some or all of the following:

Responsibilities:

• Grading papers.
• Instructional assistance.
• Lab prep and/or lab demonstrations.
• Other related duties as assigned.
• May also be required to host group study sessions.
• They will contact you directly if they wish to interview you.

Qualifications:

• Students must have successfully completed CHEM 1210/1215 and 1220/1225 (Principles of Chemistry I & II and respective labs) with a grade of "C" or better; or, as a TA for higher level courses.
• Must have completed as a minimum, that specific course with a grade of "C" or better.
• If you have not completed the above coursework, your application will not be considered.
