Qualifications

• Master's degree in chemistry; OR Bachelor's degree in chemistry or biochemistry; AND Master's in biochemistry, chemical engineering, chemical physics, physics, molecular biology or geochemistry; OR The equivalent.
• Demonstrated evidence of sensitivity to and understanding of the diverse academic, socioeconomic, cultural, disability, gender identity, sexual orientation, and ethnic backgrounds in a community college environment.

Position Description

Chaffey College is seeking applicants for the adjunct faculty pool in the Chemistry Department. All applicants are expected to meet the California State Community College Minimum Qualifications for Chemistry instructors (below). Meeting the minimum qualifications does not guarantee employment or an interview.

COMPENSATION

Part-time faculty compensation is commensurate with education and District teaching experience according to the lecture, lab, or non-instructional rate schedules.
