Job summary

Eurofins USA Food Testing is seeking an entry-level lab assistant in Minnesota to support QA/QC and dairy testing activities. You will follow Quality System documents, maintain records, and input data into the eLIMS system.

Responsibilities include learning dairy instruments, ensuring accurate results, and collaborating across teams while upholding safety, quality and regulatory standards. This role offers full-time benefits and steady career growth.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Understand and follow Quality System documents relevant to responsibilities (e.g., Quality Manual, SOPs, Methods).
• Adhere to health, safety, and environmental regulations; maintain a clean, safe work area.
• Register incoming samples and maintain neat records for quality control/regulatory purposes.
• Enter sample data into Eurofins eLIMS systems accurately and timely.
• Learn to operate dairy testing instruments and validate results.
• Identify process difficulties and report them with proposed solutions to management.
• Maintain readiness to respond to client, staff, and coworker queries.
• Communicate orally and in writing with intra- and inter-department staff.
• Promote the company image through sound and ethical business practices.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Job Description

OVERALL OBJECTIVES AND RESPONSIBILITES

• Understand and follow Quality System documents relevant to responsibilities, e.g., Quality Manual, SOPs, and Methods.
• Adhere to appropriate quality measures to meet or exceed the standards set by NCIMS 2400 forms or other requlatory bodies, and company requirements relevant to assigned duties.
• Adhere to all health, safety, and environmental regulations relative to assigned analytical work; maintain and assist others in maintaining a clean, safe work environment.
• Registration of incoming samples, maintaining a neat and accurate record system of work performed on a daily basis and as needed for quality control tests or regulatory purposes.
• Enter the sample data into Eurofins eLIMS sytems in a timely and accurate manner.
• Learn to operate dairy testing instruments efficiently and ensure results are properly validated.
• Identify process difficulties and report these together with proposed solutions to management.
• Maintain a perpetual state of readiness and willingness to respond to the queries and needs of clients, staff, and co-workers.
• Maintain cooperative working relationships with all company employees. Communicate orally and in writing to co-workers. This includes “intra” and “inter” departmental employees.
• Promote the company image through the exercising of sound and ethical business practices as related to the public and our customers.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
