Job summary

The successful candidate will stage, weigh, compound, and process raw materials for dehydrated culture media and liquid media, ensuring GMP compliance and safety.

The role requires a BS in Chemistry or related field and at least 6 months of experience in a high-paced chemistry lab or manufacturing facility.

Responsibilities

• Monitor manufacturing processes and maintain appropriate process controls.
• Accurately document production activities, material usage, and process parameters.
• Follow GMP guidelines, SOPs, and departmental procedures.
• Ensure production activities are completed on schedule while maintaining quality.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the accurate staging, weighing, compounding, and processing of raw materials used in the production of dehydrated culture media and liquid media, while ensuring compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), safety standards, and departmental procedures.

Key Responsibilities

• Stage, weigh, and compound raw materials within specified weight tolerances, ranging from micrograms to kilograms.
• Perform milling, blending, and aseptic liquid-filling operations as per production requirements.
• Monitor manufacturing processes and maintain appropriate process controls.
• Accurately document production activities, material usage, and process parameters.
• Follow established GMP guidelines, SOPs, and departmental procedures.
• Ensure production activities are completed in accordance with scheduled timelines while maintaining quality and accuracy.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe laboratory and manufacturing environment.

Qualifications & Experience
