Responsibilities

• Teaches 30 credit hours per academic year (fall and spring) at Georgia Highlands College.
• Adopts and implements common course objectives as required by the division.
• Manages courses with syllabi and accurate records of student performance, attendance, and grades.
• Maintains regular office hours (10 hours per week) to assist students.
• Participates in academic advising of students as required by division.
• Assists in curriculum development, review, and instructional materials selection.
• Participates in college committees, faculty meetings, and accreditation activities.
• Engages in evidence-based assessment for accreditation and program improvement.
• Demonstrates service to the community and profession; pursues further professional development.
• Performs related duties as assigned.
