Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree
• Teaching Qualification (PGCE, Qualified Teacher Status)
• Minimum 2 years teaching experience in Science/Chemistry
• IGCSE experience is desirable
• Good cross-cultural, interpersonal and communication skills to interact with diverse nationalities and cultures
• Excellent analytical skills - with the passion and drive to demonstrate and quantify success
• Excellent time management skills and flexibility in dealing with multi-functional tasks.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high quality teaching of General Sciences at Middle School and Chemistry at IGCSE or equivalent.
• Engage and challenge student learning through questioning and proven pedagogical strategies.
• Create a culture of learning and manage student behaviour in a respectful, collaborative environment.
• Participate in all aspects of the learning programme and contribute to school growth.
• Plan lessons with clear objectives and align activities to the curriculum.
