Cognizant is seeking a Scientific Informatics Lead to drive chemistry-focused ELN and scientific data management across discovery and development teams. You will translate complex workflows into scalable platform capabilities, partnering with chemists, informatics specialists, and vendors.

The role requires leadership across requirements, configuration, testing, deployment and ongoing support, with hands-on ELN experience and strong chemistry domain expertise.

Qualifications

• Strong domain expertise in medicinal chemistry, synthetic or process chemistry.

Responsabilités

• Lead requirements discovery for chemistry experiments, reactions, compounds, samples, inventory, and reporting.
• Translate workflows into user stories, specs, data mappings and acceptance criteria.
• Provide senior oversight for ELN configuration, workflow design, testing, deployment and support.
• Design workflows for experiment capture, reaction management, structures, stoichiometry, registration and inventory.
• Guide integrations with registration systems, inventory platforms, assays, analytics, instruments and data repositories.
• Support data governance, traceability, metadata, reporting and data quality initiatives.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams including chemists, informatics, validation, infra, security and vendors.
• Develop SOPs, training materials, release notes and platform documentation.
• Support platform modernization, migration and continuous improvement.
