Job summary

Responsibilities

• Plan a program of study that meets student needs and abilities.
• Evaluate student progress and prepare progress reports.
• Instruct students in citizenship, basic communications and core curriculum elements.
• Provide individual, small, and large group instruction as appropriate.
• Maintain standards of pupil behavior for an orderly environment.
• Select and requisition instructional materials and maintain inventory records.
• Coordinate with aides and paraprofessionals as needed.
• Communicate with parents and pupil personnel staff regarding progress.
