Job summary

The University of Nevada, Las Vegas invites applications for a Postdoctoral Scholar of Chemistry Education Research in the College of Science. The successful candidate will hold a PhD in chemistry education or related field (ABD considered) and conduct research aligned with the PI’s program.

The role includes mentoring graduate and undergraduate students in the group. Primary duties are writing manuscripts, collecting and analyzing data, and assisting with grant proposals.

Qualifications

• PhD in Chemistry Education Research or related field from an accredited institution.
• Experience in scientific/academic writing and research methodology (quant or mixed methods).
• Experience with statistical software such as R, Mplus, SPSS.

Responsibilities

• Write manuscripts and analyze data.
• Assist with grant proposal writing.
• Mentor incoming graduate and undergraduate students.
