Qualifications

• Candidates must be working toward an undergraduate or master's degree in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, or a related field at Drexel University.
• Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future.
• Ability to learn on the job and demonstrate strong analytical skills.
• Must be a self-starter with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Proficiency in Excel, Word and PowerPoint; ability to work in a team environment.
• Minimum GPA of 3.2.

Responsibilities

• Work directly with Axalta Scientists on a defined project to develop new products or improve processes.
• Contribute to polymer synthesis, paint formulations, or analytical chemistry instrumentation tasks.
• Prepare and present a final report summarizing project work at the end of the co-op.
