Job summary

Tutor Me Sos is looking for an energetic and experienced Chemistry/Biology Tutor to join our team in Westport, Connecticut. In this role, you will help students understand educational concepts, prepare for tests, and complete assignments. The ideal candidate will have a passion for education and the ability to support students in reaching their full potential. A Bachelor degree in Chemistry and/or Biology and prior tutoring experience are preferred. A flexible schedule is available.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Tutor is preferred.
• Bachelor degree in Chemistry and/or Biology required.
• Patient, understanding, and reliable qualities are essential.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills needed.
• Ability to pass a background check is necessary.

Responsibilities

• Help students understand new concepts.
• Assist students in preparing for tests and completing assignments.
• Teach problem-solving skills.
• Prepare students for the ACT/SAT exam.
• Give updates to the site admin regarding student performance.
