Job summary

CSU Bakersfield's Department of Chemistry & Biochemistry seeks an Instructional Student Assistant to support courses by grading papers, proctoring, and assisting in labs and activities. The ISA positions are open to matriculated students and require ongoing semester applications with faculty recommendations welcomed.

Responsibilities

• Provide instructional support to instructors by grading papers in a variety of courses or facilitating discussions.
• Assist the instructor in lab/activity sessions/tours and other duties as assigned by the Department Chair in consultation with faculty.
• Perform supplemental instruction sessions for academic support.
