Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in Chemistry or related discipline with 18 hours in teaching from an accredited institution
• Valid Driver’s License
• Teaching experience at the postsecondary level (preferred)
• PhD in Chemistry (preferred)
• Experience teaching online or in hybrid environments (preferred)

Responsibilities

• Prepare lesson plans for credited technical/occupational Chemistry courses.
• Develop standardized course syllabi using provided templates.
• Evaluate students’ progress based on established grading requirements.
• Maintain documentation and administrative reports; participate in professional development.
• Teach Chemistry in classroom/lab/field settings and adapt to online or hybrid delivery as needed.
