Job summary

Johnson Service Group, Inc. is seeking a Senior Chemist for a lab-based role in West Point, PA. This on-site position involves routine pharmaceutical testing including stability assays and may involve method validation. Strong HPLC and GMP experience are required.

BS in life sciences is required; with a BS, 5+ years of pharma experience or with a Master's, 3+ years are expected. Empower/Chromatography software familiarity is preferred.

Qualifications

• BS or MS in life sciences; chemistry preferred.

• Experience with HPLC required; GMP experience required.
• Empower and dissolution experience preferred; familiarity with chromatography software such as Chemstation or Agilent.
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Carry out routine testing on pharmaceutical drug products under supervision.
• Include stability testing (assay, dissolution, KF, disintegration, etc.).
• Method validation may be performed depending on candidate ability.

Senior Chemist | West Point, PA | Lab Based Position | Pay Rate Range: $40.23 - $46.01/hr | W2

Qualifications: BS/Master's in life sciences, chemistry preferred. Experience: With BS, minimum 5 years and with Master’s, min. 3 year of pharmaceutical experience. Needs to work quickly and efficiently, while obtaining high quality data. Experience with HPLC is required. Successful performance requires a sound basic knowledge of the individual scientific discipline and the ability to apply fundamental principles and techniques to the problems assigned GMP experience required. Preferred Experience: Experience with Empower and dissolution is preferred. EMPOWER or any other chromatography collection software like Chemstation or Agilent (Preferred) MS office suite
