Applied Materials, Inc. is seeking a disciplined New College Grad to contribute to chemistry programs for semiconductor integration at our Santa Clara site. You will design experiments, collect data, and help analyze results to support product teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in chemistry, materials science, or a related field.
• Experience with data collection and basic statistical analysis is a plus.
• Familiarity with semiconductor processing or research environments is helpful.

Responsibilities

• Design, collect data, analyze and compile reports on chemistry related to semiconductor integration.
• Assess viability of new chemical processes for product teams using analytical techniques.
• Troubleshoot product quality issues arising from chemical processing or synthesis during scale-up.
• Feasibility testing of new chemical processes on test equipment and involvement in design of test equipment.
• Test new chemical processes on small scale to demonstrate feasibility.
