Job summary

SGS, a global leader in inspection, verification, testing and certification, seeks a chemistry professional to handle samples, perform analyses per procedures, and maintain lab equipment.

The role requires a Bachelor's in Chemistry or related field, 3+ years of lab experience, English proficiency, and familiarity with MS Office and LIMS; you will document quality activities and record nonconformities, with duties including operating HPLC equipment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemistry or related field; or equivalent commercial laboratory experience.
• 3+ years of prior laboratory experience in related work.
• English language proficiency.
• Basic math skills.
• Basic reasoning abilities.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office 365; experience with LIMS preferred.

Responsibilities

• Handles samples and performs analyses according to Operating Procedures and test methodology.
• Maintains and verifies equipment.
• Reports deficiencies or malfunctions to the supervisor.
• Maintains records of all quality activities as documented in Operating Procedures and test methods.
