Job summary

Eurofins Scientific, a global life sciences company, is seeking a Chemist I to perform testing activities under supervision in accordance with regulatory guidelines.

The role involves wet chemistry methods, instrument utilization (HPLC, GC, IC, ICP, ICP-MS), data entry in LIMS, and ensuring turnaround times are met. A B.S. in Chemistry or related field is required, with emphasis on accuracy and safety. Benefits are provided with full-time employment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemistry or related field.
• Experience with ICP, HPLC, GC, IC, DA, BOD and wet chemistry techniques preferred.
• Knowledge of ISO 17025, DEA, EPA, FDA and related guidance.

Responsibilities

• Perform testing activities as directed by Department Supervisor in accordance with all applicable company and regulatory guidelines.
• Monitor backlog and plan testing schedule to ensure quoted turnaround times are met.
• Wet chemistry techniques utilized will include gravimetry, titrimetry, colorimetry and others as needed.
• Instrumentation utilized may include HPLC, GC, ICP, ICP-MS, IC, and others as needed.
• Maintain neat and accurate records.
