Job summary

The Fountain Group is seeking a Chemist for a 6-month contract located in Scarborough, ME, 04074. The role focuses on production scheduling, in-process QC testing, and supporting GMP/GLP quality systems onsite.

Qualifications include a Bachelor/Master/PhD and experience with GLP/GMP regulations and analytical methods such as HPLC, ELISA, and spectrophotometry. SOP compliance and batch records are required. Onsite day shift with potential extension or conversion based on performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or Master, or PhD is required.
• Experience with GLP or GMP regulations is highly preferred.
• Experience with analytical testing such as HPLC, SDS- Page, ELISA, Spectrophotometry, pH meters, Gel electrophoresis, or Pipetting is required.
• Experience with blood, urine, or diagnostic product testing is preferred.
• Experience with SOP compliance is required.
• Experience with preparing buffers or reagents and batch production and batch records is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain production schedules and perform in-process QC testing.
• Support qualifications and quality inspections and GMP/GLP quality systems.
• Investigate problems, implement procedures, and ensure safety compliance.
• Prepare critical and non-critical bioreagents according to SOPs.
• Coordinate manufacturing activities and maintain raw bioreagents.

We are a national staffing firm and are currently seeking a Chemist for a prominent client of ours. This position is located in Scarborough, ME, 04074. Details of the position are as follows:

Job Description

• Pay: $29.00- 31.00/hr to start.
• 6- month contract to start with the possibility of extension or conversion based on budget and performance.
• Monday- Friday, standard day shift, onsite position.
• Position will mainly be responsible for maintaining production schedules, performing in-process QC testing, supporting qualifications and quality inspections, and maintaining GMP/GLP quality systems.
• Responsibilities also include investigating problem areas, implementing new procedures, following safety precautions, creating product improvement protocols, and preparing critical and non-critical bioreagents according to SOPs.
• Position will also be responsible for coordinating manufacturing activities with the team, maintaining raw bioreagent supplies, and supporting production schedules.
