Eurofins USA Food Testing is seeking a Chemist I to perform monograph testing and unknown analyses under supervision, ensuring timely turnaround. The role requires a B.S. in chemistry and experience with HPLC, GC, ICP and wet chemistry techniques.
You will maintain accurate lab records, enter data into LIMS, and support equipment calibration while adhering to ISO 17025 guidelines and regulatory expectations. This is a full-time on-site position.

The Chemist I performs testing activities directed by Department
Manager/Supervisor in accordance with all applicable company and
regulatory guidelines to ensure that quoted turnaround times are met in
support of monograph testing, unknown/failure analysis and other areas.
The Chemist I receives sufficient authority from, and is accountable to, the Department
Manager/Supervisor, or appointed designate, for the successful completion of assigned duties and
responsibilities and has the authority to take action necessary to carry out the duties and
responsibilities of this position and to identify the occurrence of departures from the quality system
or from the procedures for performing tests and/or calibrations, so long as such action does not
deviate from established company guidelines, is consistent with sound technical and business
judgment, and follows the practices of the laboratory.
