Job summary

AllSTEM Connections is seeking a skilled laboratory professional to perform routine analytical testing in a GMP environment, document results, and report findings for drug substances and products.

The role requires knowledge of cGMP and cGLP principles, experience with lab equipment (HPLC, pH meters, UV, dissolution test apparatus), and strong MS Office skills.

You will participate in investigations, root-cause analysis, and daily tier processes to ensure product quality and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• B.S. degree in Chemistry, Biology, Engineering or related STEM field.
• Experience with GMP practices and QA documentation is preferred.
• Knowledge of regulatory/cGMP and cGLP principles.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook).

Responsibilities

• Routine laboratory analytical testing, documentation, and reporting per GMP.
• Testing dissolution, assay/degradate, content uniformity, and identity tests.
• Participate in investigations and root cause analysis; troubleshoot instrumentation issues.
• Engage in the daily tier process.

B.S. degree in Chemistry, Biology, Engineering or other STEM related field.

Required Skills:

• Knowledge of continuous improvement principles (e.g. 5S, Kaizen, Hoshin, Standard Work).


• Knowledge of routine operation of laboratory equipment including but not limited to: Karl Fisher, pH meter, conductivity meter, UV, HPLC, Dissolution apparatus, etc.


• Knowledge of regulatory, cGLP principals and cGMP principles.


• Experience using Microsoft Office applications (word, excel, outlook).

Preferred Skills:

• 4) Experience performing root cause analysis.


• 5) Technical writing, including but not limited to: updating of standard operating procedures and writing quality notifications.


• 6) Knowledge of Tier processes.


• 7) Experience executing continuous improvement principles (e.g. 5S, Kaizen, Hoshin, Standard work).

Responsibilities:

Primary responsibilities are routine laboratory analytical testing, documentation, and reporting of potent and non-potent pharmaceutical drug product and drug substances; including but not limited to dissolution, assay/degradate, content uniformity, and identity testing in a GMP laboratory. Additional responsibilities include participating in laboratory investigations, root cause analysis, simple troubleshooting instrumentation issues, and participation in the daily tier process.
