Job summary

A strategic workforce solutions provider located in Chester County, Malvern, is seeking a candidate experienced in analytical testing within a cGMP environment. Responsibilities include conducting routine and non-routine testing, preparing and standardizing solutions, and managing laboratory data using LIMS. The ideal applicant should have a strong understanding of laboratory practices, along with the ability to assist and train fellow chemists.

Qualifications

• Experience performing analytical testing in a laboratory setting.
• Knowledge of cGMP guidelines and Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS).
• Ability to prepare and standardize solutions for testing.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine analytical testing of materials.
• Prepare and standardize test solutions.
• Conduct data entry and review in LIMS.
• Train other chemists on laboratory functions.
• Entry and review of data in a Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS).
• Peer review, evaluate and investigate results from various analyses.
• Participate in special projects such as laboratory equipment validation, analytical method transfers and SOP reviews.
• Assist and train other chemists in everyday laboratory functions.
• Properly dispose of sample preparations and solutions according to safety and environmental procedures.

Job Description

• In a team setting and cGMP environment, perform routine analytical testing in support of raw material, lot clearance, and in-process testing.
• Prepare and standardize test / volumetric solutions, standard solutions, and samples for various chemical and physical tests according to approved methods.
• Conduct routine and non-routine testing of materials and product using a variety of equipment and test methods.
• Prepare data and documentation using calculators and computer software.
• Entry and review of data in a Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS).
• Peer review, evaluate and investigate results from various analyses.
• Participate in special projects such as laboratory equipment validation, analytical method transfers and SOP reviews.
• Assist and train other chemists in everyday laboratory functions.
• Properly dispose of sample preparations and solutions according to safety and environmental procedures.
