Job summary

WaveCrest Staffing Group is seeking a Research Chemist to support analytical testing, method development, validation, and quality initiatives across multiple projects. The ideal candidate will hold a Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry (2–4 years of relevant experience) or a Master’s degree (0–2 years), with strong attention to detail and the ability to interpret data and maintain accurate records.

You will analyze compounds, develop new methods, document validation reports, and ensure compliance

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry or related field with 2–4 years of relevant experience.
• Master’s degree in Chemistry or related field with 0–2 years of relevant experience.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to interpret and summarize analytical data.
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and maintain accurate records.

Responsibilities

• Analyze compounds using a variety of analytical techniques and established procedures.
• Develop new analytical methods and procedures for new compounds.
• Author and execute analytical validation reports, protocols, and related documentation.
• Process and evaluate samples independently, reviewing data for accuracy and validity before reporting results.
• Conduct research to identify applicable analytical methods and procedures.
• Support investigations involving OOS results and deviations, including basic root cause and risk assessment activities.
• Track and trend analytical data and recommend improvements to product and service quality.
• Manage multiple projects and priorities while maintaining accurate, timely documentation.
• Contribute to project milestones and apply existing technical knowledge to new and related projects.
• Follow all chemical handling, disposal, safety, and regulatory requirements.
• Participate in training and professional development activities.
