Job summary

Accenture is seeking a Senior Manager in the United States (Virginia) to lead and optimize chemicals procurement projects for major clients. You will drive cost improvements, manage client communications, and mentor junior staff within Accenture’s Chemicals Center of Excellence.

Travel of 10–50% is expected, with a focus on developing strategic sourcing programs, negotiating supplier terms, and delivering measurable bottom-line results.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in strategic sourcing and procurement projects.
• 4+ years in chemicals sourcing or chemicals negotiations.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent (minimum 12 years) work experience.
• Travel 10-50% is required.

Responsibilities

• Developing project plans and leading some or all parts of the client engagement.
• Managing project resources and coordinating with subject matter experts.
• Developing creative cost reduction strategies and recommendations.
• Presenting to client executives and building consensus among stakeholders.
• Coaching and developing internal team members and leading COE initiatives.
