Job Title: Chemical Technician

Job Summary: The Town of Prosper is seeking a qualified and dedicated individual for the position of Chemical Technician.

Salary Range: $44,924 - $48,888.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or G.E.D.
• Two years of relevant work experience.
• Valid Texas Department of Agriculture Non-Commercial Pesticide Applicator License.
• Valid Texas Class C driver’s license.
• Ability to obtain the “right of way” and “aquatic” categories of TDA within one year of hire.

Under general supervision, the Chemical Technician performs skilled technical labor to control weed and insect populations, apply pesticides, insecticides, fertilizers, and chemicals, and prevent diseases and fungi in the Town’s turf areas.
