Job summary

NJ Bio, Inc. seeks a detail-oriented 6-month intern to support structural elucidation, analytical characterization, and catalogue data for ~500 compounds. You will perform LC/MS purity checks, NMR peak assignments, and organize files in SharePoint for easy access.

You will also generate SMILES/SDF files, verify CAS numbers, assign names, and collect supplier pricing to support marketplace uploads and data integrity. Proficiency with Office tools is expected.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with LC/MS and NMR data acquisition and interpretation.
• Familiarity with CAS numbers, chemical nomenclature, and catalog documentation.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data handling.

Responsibilities

• Acquire and analyze QC data for each batch of compounds for online marketplace.
• Collect LC/MS data to assess purity, identify parent mass, and assign fragmentation.
• Acquire and interpret 1H and 13C NMR spectra with peak assignments.
• Organize and upload analytical files to SharePoint folders for retrieval.
• Determine SMILES strings and generate SDF files for catalog representation.
• Search for CAS numbers, assign chemical names, synonyms, and compare prices.
