Qualifications

Klenzoid, Inc., has an immediate need for a Chemical Production Technician at our Conshohocken PA production facility. This is your opportunity to join a growing company offering a competitive base salary, bonus structure and benefits.

Job Overview

You will be primarily responsible for the daily execution of production orders including chemical blending, drum filling, materials handling, and general warehouse duties. You will be expected to assist the production lead in successfully fulfilling production orders on a daily basis. This position requires the handling of hazardous materials, and the successful candidate will be expected to follow strict manufacturing guidelines including appropriate chemical handling and the proper use of assigned PPE. This is not a laboratory position. The successful candidate will be a self-starter who can follow detailed workflow processes and maintain a clean and healthy work environment. This position requires the ability to routinely lift and move 60 lb containers unassisted, up to 750 lb containers using hand carts, and wear and work in half-mask and full-mask respirators for extended periods.

Main Responsibilities

• Filling and moving chemical containers
• Measuring and transferring liquid and powdered raw materials between bulk tanks, batch tanks, and various containers
• Ability to operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks
• Occasional daily (during normal working hours) travel with delivery personal to assist in on site chemical deliveries
• Other duties as assigned

Basic Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED
• Must have the ability to lift and move 60 lbs unassisted
• Must have a valid Driver's License and acceptable Motor Vehicle Record

Preferred Qualifications

• Computer application literacy (including Microsoft Office Suite, and ability to learn internal business systems)
• Forklift operation certification
• Prior Hazcom training and experience
• Prior experience that required excellent communication skills
• Prior experience that required excellent organizational skills
• Prior experience that demonstrates a strong work ethic and ability to multi-task
