Job summary

Brenntag is seeking a Production Operator to safely and efficiently handle liquid and dry chemical products in a dynamic warehouse environment. You will mix, load/unload products, operate forklifts, repackage, label, and maintain precise inventory records to support production and distribution.

Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, forklift certification, and strong English reading/writing skills.

Qualifications

High school diploma, GED, or US military experience.
Forklift certification and ability to operate forklift safely.
Ability to read, comprehend and follow detailed instructions in English.
Mathematical ability for measurements and unit conversions.
Comfort with learning and operating technology-based devices (phones, tablets, computers, PLCs).
Meet or exceed production targets based on equipment performance.
Wear required safety equipment.
Comply with loading/unloading placarding rules.

Responsibilities

Operate and manage process equipment to produce blended, diluted, and manufactured final products safely and efficiently.
Ensure final product is within specification using process data and testing techniques.
Receive/unload and prepare/load liquid and dry chemical products from/to trucks, tankers, and railcars.
Operate powered hand trucks and forklifts; move raw materials and finished goods.
Repackage product into proper containers with correct labeling and storage.
Maintain accurate receiving/shipping logs and report discrepancies.
Maintain warehouse safety, cleanliness and implement spill cleanup when needed.
Assist in general warehouse duties as required.
