Job summary

USALCO LLC seeks a Chemical Operator to manufacture products while ensuring compliance with safety and quality policies. The ideal candidate is detail oriented, team focused and committed to high standards in a fast-paced plant environment.

You will operate chemical processes and equipment, perform quality checks, document batch information, and support continuous improvement with management and peers. Flexibility to work shifts and overtime, physical requirements including lifting up to 75 lbs,

Qualifications

• Requires knowledge of chemical manufacturing and equipment.
• Must pay attention to detail and maintain accuracy in documentation.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Must obtain Fork Lift certification within 30 days of hire if applicable to site.

Responsibilities

• Oversee safe and efficient operation of assigned processes and transfer of hazardous chemicals.
• Apply all safety rules, guidelines and procedures.
• Wear and maintain required PPE for hazardous chemicals.
• Develop and apply improvements in processes, equipment and procedures.
• Complete walk-throughs and audits of safety and housekeeping.
