Job summary

Augment Professional Services (APS) is seeking Chemical / Process Engineers to support process systems and facility infrastructure for large-scale advanced manufacturing operations. The engineer will support process design, equipment integration, piping, commissioning, and technical issue resolution while working closely with mechanical, electrical, controls, construction, safety, and operations teams.

The engineer will read PFDs and P&IDs, review calculations, and collaborate across disciplines

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or related engineering discipline.
• Experience reading and developing PFDs and P&IDs.
• Knowledge of process piping, valves, instrumentation, and equipment.
• Understanding of fluid systems and process calculations.
• Experience with technical specifications, and equipment documentation.
• Strong multidisciplinary engineering and field coordination skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and review process engineering designs and documentation.
• Review and develop PFDs, P&IDs, calculations, equipment specifications, and process requirements.
• Support process piping and utility systems.
• Coordinate equipment and process interfaces.
• Evaluate flow, pressure, temperature, chemical compatibility, and operating requirements.
• Support construction engineering and technical issue resolution.
• Participate in process safety and design reviews.
• Support commissioning, startup, qualification, and system turnover.
• Coordinate with vendors and multidisciplinary engineering teams.
