Job summary

Solenis is seeking a VFA Shift Supervisor to lead a production shift, drive continuous improvement, and ensure safety and environmental performance on a new plant site. The role involves managing a team of 4–6 operators, coordinating with multiple site departments, and transitioning to a rotating shift after an initial 1–2 years.

Qualifications

• BS degree in chemical engineering.
• 3+ years of chemical manufacturing experience.
• Strong knowledge of hazardous chemical handling.
• Ability to follow direction and safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Lead production activities for the assigned shift and guide operators.
• Assist in commissioning and startup activities for the new plant on site.
• Train, coach, and develop shift operators to improve performance.
• Maintain safety-first culture and ensure environmental compliance.
• Coordinate with Maintenance, Lab, Engineering, and Planning to meet targets.
