Job summary

Securitas US Business Unit is seeking a Chemical Plant Security Officer to help safeguard facilities and personnel. The role emphasizes customer service, vigilant patrols, and the use of mobile technology to report and respond to incidents.

This position offers flexible full- and part-time options, with weekly pay and opportunities for growth within the company. No prior experience is required, and training is provided where needed.

Qualifications

• Must have strong customer service skills.
• Ability to complete patrols.
• Strong technology skills (cell phone/computer).
• Prior security/customer service experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Security Officers/Security Guards observe and report activities and incidents at an assigned client site, providing for the security and safety of client property and personnel.
• Frequent sitting, standing and walking, which may be required for long periods of time, and may involve climbing stairs and walking on inclines and uneven terrain.
• Additional physical requirements of the security officer/guard may include frequent lifting and/or moving up to 10 pounds and occasional lifting and/or moving up to 25 pounds.

Security Officer/Guard:

• Security Positions are Full and Part Time
• Must have excellent Customer Service skills
• Security positions require you pass our drug screen and background check
• Must be able to meet and continue to meet any applicable state, county, and municipal licensing requirements for Security Officers/Guard
