Job summary

VIN123 is seeking a line filler to properly fill, label and load packaging of pre-blended chemicals at our Harrisonburg facility. The role requires handling potentially hazardous materials with strict safety and DOT/OSHA compliance.

Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, 1 year in an industrial setting, and a preference for 2+ years in chemical production. Shift is first; candidates must be able to work at 560 Stone Spring Rd, Harrisonburg, VA.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Associate's degree in chemistry or related field preferred.
• 1 year experience in an industrial environment required.
• 2+ years in chemical production preferred.

Responsibilities

• Wear mandatory PPE at all times.
• Operate forklift or pallet jack to retrieve packaging items.
• Label packaging items in compliance with DOT requirements.
• Fill and seal packaging items in compliance with DOT and OSHA requirements.
• Measure or weigh chemicals into designated containers following instructions.
• Scan packaging items into designated areas and load trucks as needed.
• Complete batch tickets and manufacturing logs per company requirements.
• Maintain a safe, clean and dry work area at all times.
• Complete other duties and special projects as requested.
