Job summary

Dubois Chemicals is seeking a First Shift Liquid Take Out Chemical Production Operator in Ohio. The role involves safely packaging chemicals, decanting, and ensuring accurate labeling and storage in a fast-paced plant environment.

You will monitor gauges, operate hoses, and maintain daily logs while wearing appropriate PPE and following SDS procedures. Collaboration with teammates and adherence to safety standards are essential.

Qualifications

  • 1+ years experience in a chemical plant.
  • 2 years experience in a manufacturing and/or distribution facility.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively and efficiently with colleagues.
  • Effective communication skills and time management.
  • Able to stand and/or walk for extended periods of time.
  • Previous experience in a chemical plant preferred.
  • Experience operating a sit-down (propane) forklift preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Package chemicals in pails, drums, and totes.
  • Connect hoses and open valves to decant chemicals into containers as specified in procedures.
  • Collect raw materials and lift hoses.
  • Monitor gauges and meters to prevent spills or overfills.
  • Secure lids, caps, and labels on filled containers.
  • Wear PPE and follow SDS and safety procedures.
  • Maintain daily logs and plant data.
  • Report issues to Production Supervisor.
  • Follow government and safety training requirements.
