Job summary

Solenis is seeking an Operations Technician to join our Savannah, GA area team. You will operate and monitor raw material storage tanks, perform material transfers, and manage tote operations while ensuring accuracy, safety, and quality in every step.

Responsibilities include documentation, SAP transactions, and communicating status to shifts. This onsite role requires willingness to work rotating shifts and adhere to safety policies; a high school diploma is required.

Qualifications

• Industrial or chemical plant operating experience.
• Experience with bulk liquid handling, tank farms, or toting operations.
• Familiarity with SAP or electronic batch/log systems.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety and quality.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor raw material storage tanks, including level checks, transfers, and tank lineups.
• Perform material transfers according to operating procedures and production requirements.
• Operate the finished product toting station, including tote setup, filling, verification, and labeling.
• Verify correct product, tank identification, and routing prior to transfers or toting activities.
• Conduct basic inspections of pumps, hoses, valves, and metering equipment associated with transfer and toting operations.
• Accurately complete required documentation, including log sheets, batch/order records, and SAP transactions.
• Communicate process status, abnormal conditions, and equipment issues to supervisors and incoming shifts.
• Maintain housekeeping standards in tank farm, transfer, and toting areas.
• Follow all safety, environmental, and quality policies, including proper PPE use and spill prevention practices.

Key Responsibilities

The expected compensation range for this position is between $47,950.00 and $70,323.00 plus discretionary bonuses. The exact compensation may vary based on your skills, experience and other factors permitted by law.
