PPG Barberton- Norton, OH plant is hiring a Chemical Operator. The role reports to a Production Supervisor and involves rotating shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays. You will ensure a quality product is available to customers and perform safety-compliant tasks daily.

Responsibilities include starting and stopping equipment, documenting steps, and applying troubleshooting skills. The job offers a $1000 sign-on bonus plus $1000 retention bonus after 1 year.

Qualifications

• Able to work in any area of the department.
• Manually lift up to 50 lbs.
• Able to work in a respirator.
• Able to stand or sit for long periods and frequently use stairs, catwalks, and ladders.
• Willing to work overtime.

Responsabilités

• Follow all safety requirements and guidelines.
