Job summary

Teknor Apex is seeking a Plant Operator at the Brownsville, TN facility to support daily production and batch processing. You will read logs, follow supervisor directions, perform batch sheets, and uphold safety and quality standards in a hands-on role.

Responsibilities include maintaining cleanliness, recording SPC data, managing product changes, and following valve-locking procedures to ensure reliable, compliant operation across the reactor area.

Qualifications

• Must be able to comprehend written procedures and instructions.
• Strong math and measurement abilities for batch calculations.
• Must follow safety rules and wear required PPE.

Responsibilities

• Read logbooks and schedule daily tasks.
• Follow directions from Supervisor and Managers.
• Follow valve-locking procedures to ensure safety.
• Charge batches correctly and efficiently.
• Produce product to required quality standards on time.
• Keep SPC data up-to-date.
• Responsible for product filtration and purity during changes.
• Fill batch sheets completely and accurately.
