Job summary

Synerfac Technical Staffing seeks a Chemical Operator in Bridgeton, NJ to monitor and operate process equipment, recording temperatures, pressures, and flow rates while maintaining precise logs. You will safely transfer materials between railcars, tanks, and containers, ensuring adherence to SOPs and environmental safety standards.

Qualifications

  • HS diploma or GED is required.
  • Previous experience in a similar environment is required.
  • Must be able to work 12 hour rotating shifts.
  • Knowledge of pressure, flow, temperature, gauges and related process measurements.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor and operate process equipment by recording temperatures, pressures, flow rates, and tank levels with accurate logs.
  • Safely transfer materials between railcars, storage tanks, ISO containers, and process equipment following environmental, safety, and SOPs.
  • Operate and monitor pumps, compressors, control systems, and other equipment to maintain unit performance and learn boiler and chiller systems.
  • Collect product samples and support process optimization through control board operations and apprenticeship training.

Responsibilities

  • Safely transfer materials between railcars, storage tanks, ISO containers, and process equipment, ensuring all operations comply with environmental, safety, and standard operating procedures (SOPs)
  • Operate and monitor pumps, compressors, control systems, and other process equipment to maintain efficient unit performance, while learning the operation and maintenance of boiler and chiller systems
  • Collect product samples, support process optimization through control board operations, and successfully complete required apprenticeship training and testing
