Job summary

Nexus Circular is seeking an HMI operator to monitor and control industrial processes in our manufacturing plant. You will operate HMI software, track machine performance, respond to alarms, and work with engineers and maintenance staff to optimize production.

The role requires a high school diploma and familiarity with control systems; a shift-based schedule (6:30am–6:30pm, 3-2-2) applies, with reporting to the Plant Manager.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in operating HMI software or similar control systems is preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

As an HMI (Human Machine Interface) operator in a manufacturing plant, yourmain roleis to control andmonitorthe industrial and manufacturing processes in the plant or factory. You willbe responsible foroperatingthe HMI software to coordinate and control the machines and equipment used in the manufacturing processes.

Core Duties and Responsibilities

Your tasks will include monitoring inputs and outputs of machines, tracking the performance of the manufacturing equipment, responding to alarms and other notifications, adjusting settings to optimize the machines' performance, and completing reports and logs of machine performance. In addition, HMI operators may work closely with other plant personnel, such as engineers and maintenance staff, to maintain and troubleshoot equipment.
