Job summary

PSC Group is hiring a Chemical Loading Operator for our New Orleans refinery site. This full-time role emphasizes hands-on training, safety-first practices, and opportunities for long-term growth in the refining industry.

You will secure vessels at the loading rack, transfer product per procedures, and ensure weights and paperwork meet all standards while collaborating with site leadership and the maintenance team.

Qualifications

• 18 years or older and legally able to work in the U.S.
• Possess or able to obtain a valid Driver’s License and/or a TWIC card, depending on location
• Pass a drug screen, physical, and background check
• Speak, write, read fluent English
• Regular on-site attendance and punctuality is required
• Previous military experience and proven ability to follow procedures is a plus
• Experience is a plus but not required; on-the-job training is available

Responsibilities

• Secures and inspects the vessel at the loading rack
• Transfers product according to procedures
• Checks product / vessel weight to ensure limits are not exceeded
• Completes required paperwork prior to releasing the vessel
• Communicates with site leadership, team members and customer contacts
• Assists maintenance crew with various maintenance tasks
• Completes any other duties that may be assigned to complete the job
