Job summary

UniverCell Holding GmbH is seeking an engaged lab professional to support lithium-ion battery research in Germany. You will conduct formulation and process research on a laboratory scale, assemble and evaluate coin cells, and help organize workflows inside the R&D department.

Requirements include CTA or equivalent qualification and strong MS Office (Excel) skills. A structured, team-oriented work style and a passion for energy storage are essential.

Qualifications

• Completed vocational training as a chemical-technical assistant (CTA), chemical laboratory technician, or equivalent qualification.
• Proficient in MS Office, especially Excel.

Responsibilities

• Independent research on formulations and processes in mixing, coating, compaction, and cell assembly on a laboratory scale.
• Assembly, measurement, and evaluation of coin cells.
• Support in organizing, monitoring, and optimizing tasks and workflows within the R&D department.
• Preparation of work instructions, processes, and reports.
• Planning, execution, documentation, and evaluation of various analyses.
• Commissioning of new laboratory equipment.

Your profile

• Completed vocational training as a chemical-technical assistant (CTA), chemical laboratory technician, or equivalent qualification
• Confident use of MS Office programs, especially Excel
• Structured and solution-oriented working style
• Strong teamwork skills, initiative, and a high sense of quality
• Language skills at level B1 (or higher)
